Two More Prestigious Operators Announced at Le Jardin de Fleur

22 September 2008
Following the recently announced Radisson management contract to operate two resorts in Le Jardin de Fleur, Saïdia, the leading resort developer in Mediterrania-Saïdia Morocco, has announced the appointment of a further two hotel brands to operate its resorts. The world’s largest hotel network, Best Western Premier and the luxury Moroccan brand, Hivernage Hotel Group have both chosen Saïdia for their new hotel openings.
Not only does this mean Le Jardin de Fleur investors will enjoy all the facilities of the hotel-operated resorts such as clubhouses, swimming pools, restaurants and spas, but they will also benefit from a leaseback system that enables them to earn rental income generated from the year-round hotel
occupancy.
“This concept offers a relaxed solution to second home investment. Customers purchase a freehold property in Le Jardin de Fleur and enjoy the comfort of having every refurbishment and maintenance need taken care of by the hotel operator. They are entitled to a generous annual usage and have the
added benefit of a fully-managed annual rental income,” said Sean Cusack, Managing Director of Le Jardin de Fleur resorts. “We wanted to offer people a luxury holiday home that works hard for them while they are not using their property. That is why we have chosen to partner with hotel operators with powerful global reservations networks,” he added. Le Jardin de Fleur signed a management agreement last week with the Marrakech-based luxury hotel
operator Hivernage, part of the Great Hotels of the World Group. The Hivernage Resort & Spa (formerly known as “Villas du Soleil”) will feature 76 villa residences with their own private pool, and will open in 2010. Enjoying a tranquil beach and golf position the resort will feature outdoor and indoor lagoon pools, Moroccan spa, French brasserie, clubhouse and tennis courts.
In addition, the new international superior service brand of the world’s largest hotel chain, “Best Western Premier” has chosen Le Jardin de Fleur, Saïdia as the location to open its first Premier level hotel in the Middle East and Africa region. “The Best Western Premier hotel brand was launched to provide a higher level of service and amenities together with a characterful dimension. This resort will add to a network of more than 100 Best Western Premier hotels currently located throughout Europe and Asia. We are very proud to be part of the development of the Saïdia resort project, one of the major plans to develop tourism in the country” said Stephane Cremel, Director of Development for Best Western in Morocco. The Best Western Premier Le Jardin de Fleur (previously known as ‘Sur Mer’) will feature 126 luxury apartments and penthouses and is scheduled to open in 2009.
The Best Western Premier Le Jardin de Fleur resort will offer a lagoonswimming pool, family entertainment, spa, themed restaurant & café bar, and clubhouse set within landscaped Moroccan gardens, just minutes walk from the beach and golf course. The chain’s powerful global marketing and reservations network will enable the Saïdia destination to maximize on opportunities in the ever growing short-stay and longer-stay leisure markets.
Located 35 minutes from Oujda International Airport, in the region known as the “blue pearl of Morocco”, Mediterrania-Saïdia offers 6 km of beautiful beaches, three 18-hole golf courses, a large leisure marina, business conference facilities and a wide variety of international restaurants and shops.
“We are developing a total of 11 individually-styled resorts that offer full hotel service operated leaseback properties in Le Jardin de Fleur Saïdia. We are currently in the process of finalizing management contracts with additional international and Moroccan hotel brands that will make Saïdia a top quality tourism destination,” comments David Woodward, Director of Hotel and Commercial Operations for Property Logic, the developer behind Le Jardin de Fleur resorts in Morocco.

The Flaxby Hotel and Country Club is aiming to bring the Ryder Cup to Yorkshire. The story appeared today in the Yorkshire Post and has had such an impact that it has also featured in Iain Maitland\'s UKPA property alerts. Iain said to his readers....

\"It has winner all over it.The Yorkshire Post has run a story today which really blows the deal wide open to the general public. \"

(Yorkshire Post)\"An ambitious bid to bring the Ryder Cup to the region for the first time in more than half a century has been launched. Plans are underway to bring the showpiece golfing event to one of the country\\\\\\\'s most exclusive hotels, which is due to be built between York and Harrogate. The bid by the Skelwith Group, which is behind the £100m Flaxby Park Golf and Country Club, is being backed by the regional development agency, Yorkshire Forward, and the Yorkshire Tourist Board.\"

\"The Ryder Cup was last held in the region in 1957 at the Lindrick Golf Club near Worksop. However, an official bid will now be made to the European PGA amid hopes the tournament could be held at the Flaxby in either 2018 or 2022. If successful, the arrival of the Ryder Cup would be a massive injection into the region\'s economy. The tournament has a global television audience of more than 435 million and its regional economic impact is estimated at between £100m and £120m. The Skelwith Group\'s managing director, Paul Ellis, said: \"We are in talks with the major events team at Yorkshire Forward and we are all very excited by the bid. As an aspiring golfer my vision is to bring the best events to the Flaxby, and the Ryder Cup is the Everest of the golfing world.\"

\"A 27-hole golf course has already been created at the Flaxby site, and it is hoped other major events including PGA tournaments, the Solheim Cup and the Open could also eventually be brought to the hotel. The Yorkshire Tourist Board\'s chief executive, David Andrews, said: \"Getting the Ryder Cup to Yorkshire will provide a massive shot in the arm for the visitor economy and promote the county internationally.\"

\"Such a major event will be a showcase for all the many highlights in the area and confirm the sporting heritage of the region. The Flaxby Country Club, once open, will be the ideal venue to host this event. The five star hotel, which will have rooms available for up to £800 a night, will be set in 283 acres of woodland just off the A1. It is hoped the 303-room development will be completed by 2011.\"

You can invest in The Flaxby with La Luz Property from £147,500 for a suite with golf views. Guaranteed rental at 14%. Contact us on 01937 843131 to find out more.

We\'re pleased to say that everything is looking great for The Flaxby - the latest boost for the North Yorkshire Aparthotel is that the fabulous 27- hole golf course will be managed by Troon Golf, the world\'s leading luxury-brand golf management, development and marketing company. This is exciting news for the developer to have such a prestigious name on board - and of course great news for investors.

The hotel operator is still to be selected but it will be a world-class brand such as Radisson, Marriott, Starwood, Millenium, Hyatt or Intercontinental. The facilities at The Flaxby are so extensive that they will cater for a number of different types of visitor, including business travellers, corporate and conference guests, golfers, leisure breaks, weddings, spa visitors. This is bound to have a positive impact on rental returns for investors as it means the hotel will not be reliant on a limited market.

La Luz Property\'s offices are just a 15 minute drive from The Flaxby site, we know the surrounding area well and are confident that the choice of location is a winning one.

We would be happy to arrange to take you on a site visit and to tell you more about the amazing opportunities that The Flaxby offers.

Our extensive local knowledge puts La Luz Property in an excellent position to advise you on all aspects of investing in The Flaxby. What is more, we offer;

* No admin fee on top of your purchase price
* Established relationship with the developer
* In-depth knowlege of local economy and tourist and property markets

Property Logic to win CNBC Awards for 2nd consecutive year
Benahavís, Spain, 24 June 2008 : Property Logic is delighted to announce that it has won three of this year’s CNBC Arabian Property Awards for the categories of Best Architecture, Best Development and Best Golf Development for its flagship project, Le Jardin de Fleur located in Mediterrania-Saïdia, Morocco. The awards will be presented at a glittering gala dinner to be held at The Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai on 19th October.
“We are delighted to be recognized for the second year as among the finest development projects in the Arab world. We created Le Jardin de Fleur resorts with the vision to set high standards for a five star tourism experience, and to provide a destination that will make the people of Morocco proud,” said Sean Cusack, Managing Director of Le Jardin de Fleur resorts.
Le Jardin de Fleur resorts form part of the first and the largest of the six Plan Azur coastal destinations within the Moroccan Government’s Vision 2010 Tourism Strategy. Recently the developer announced a management partnership with Radisson Hotels and Resorts and is due to announce further hotel operators over the coming months.
Entries were judged by a panel of professionals whose collective knowledge of the property industry is unsurpassed by any other property awards. Having been given this high recommendation by its peers, Le Jardin de Fleur is now entitled to display the CNBC Arabian Property Awards’ logo with pride. This symbol of excellence will be recognised by UK and international investors who are becoming increasingly well informed and discerning about the properties they seek to buy.
